My First CA Earthwake

Sunday 8:45PM-  I just experienced my first earthquake in L.A.  They've had a few since I got here but they were too far away for me to feel.    This one's epicenter was about 20 minutes west and registered a 5.0.  I felt my room shake for about 15 seconds.  No lie.  I had enough time to stop and think to myself, "Hey, is this an earthquake?  It sure feels like an earthquake.  I think this might actually be an earthquake.  Does this bologna smell funny to you?"  Then I threw some pants on, cause I'll be darned if I'm gonna be found dead in a pile of rubble in just a pair of holey boxer-briefs and a wife beater.  It was at that point that finally, the trembling and the rumbling freight train sound overhead stopped.  It was also at that point that I realized I had put on pants for nothing.
